The Seer's Throne

Today I went on hike to a peak due east of 3300 S. Reaching the summit I found a resting spot amongst a cluster of rock forming a seat. Immediately after taking the invitation my thoughts raced wildly across my mind until the pad and pen were in my hands. Have a story in mind for this piece. :)

Masters of their craft gather their strength over the heads of the mighty golem watching over the sacred valley. Filling their cup with her beauty they are overcome by the immaculate complexity of her design. Showering the earth with their bountiful tears they cleanse her of the filth which has gathered on her bosom. My people sit oblivious in the valley while the machinations of their time unfold overhead. Unaware of the cosmic dance unfolding gracefully above them. In this joyful setting resting in the heavens a momentary sorrow grasps my heart. Stimulated by the glimpse of a scar of man staring menacingly back at me. Hanging wearily atop its frame rests an unnatural glow that instigates curiosity, as well as concern. The first can be let go because I do not want to end up like the cat, however, the latter isan indication of our current predicament.

Below these eternal watchers the ignorant of my kind move systematically into a disconnection from the natural world. We have created beautifully elaborate extensions of our own self to demonstrate the excellence of our own existence. Unfortunately, with these systems built from us we have distanced ourselves from whence we came.

A movement started in the midst of the last century to try to attune back to our world. Some are so bold to say that we must regress from our technology in order to achieve this. Look at everything around us in man's world. The creation we witness on an every day basis within our civilizations required our hands and our minds. What we have done with what has been provided to us is nothing short of a phenomena. So we cannot dismantle the masterpiece which has already been made. We have accomplished much for the sake of creation. Look around you at the magnificence of our beauty. With this knowledge understand the fallibility of our character allows us to be consumed by the pride stemming from the works developed through us. Bringing us in direct conflict with what provided us with the necessary composition to experience this unique existence. My brothers and sisters we must join together. Not for just one another anymore.

Our potential is endless. With this power comes the devastation wrought by the destruction of our connection to our universe stemming from the hand of fate created by our own. Do not let this dishearten you because the world always provides an opportunity for life to present itself. The universe is optimistic so we should join in its light. We must remember. We must reacquaint ourselves with our origin.
